Researchers define challenging carbon-emissions targets for U.S. auto industry (PhysOrg)
(PhysOrg.com) -- U.S. automakers must achieve an eightfold reduction in automobile-related carbon emissions to help stabilize the amount of heat-trapping carbon dioxide gas in the atmosphere by 2050, according to University of Michigan researchers.

ZF Sachs sources Mazda3's clutch from Chinese unit (Automotive Business Review)
German automobile driveline and chassis technology provider ZF Friedrichshafens powertrain and suspension components subsidiary, ZF Sachs, is exporting clutches for the Mazda3 from its base in China. The components are produced at Shanghai Sachs Powertrain Components Systems, a joint venture between ZF Sachs and Shanghai Automotive Industry.
